Crazy Week

Well, We have had a crazy week. We got a phone call at 11:30pm on Monday night from my sister. She was having chest pain and back pain. We got up and picked her up from her house and took her to the ER. They ran some tests and took some pictures and found that she had stones in her gall bladder. So I made a call to my parents and to her school to let them know that she would not be at work and that my parents need to come down in the morning to be with Laura. By the time we got home it was 2:30am and we got a little sleep and I went to work in the morning. I only made it through half the day and came home to take a nap. It was a long Tuesday but Laura had her gall bladder out on Wednesday morning and is doing well.

Weekends are the best!

Well, the weekend has come and is almost gone again. Friday, Ryan and I went to a ward activity. It was an Iron Chef showdown. The ingredient was bacon. I called Ashley and she came over and made bacon cupcakes and a salad with bacon in it. We did not win but she did a great job on her cooking. On Saturday, I had some girl time with my little sisters. I went and got some fabric to make a blanket and burp clothes for our little boy. In the evening, we watched the BYU basketball game. Today, our little boy has been more active then he has been in the past. He has been kicking for most of the morning. Last night, Ryan got to feel him for the first time.

Long Weekend

It was a nice long weekend. On Saturday, I was able to get some errands done while Ryan worked on homework. That night, we went to the BYU basketball game with family. It was a good game. On Sunday, I had a nice nap while Ryan went and visited some new families in our ward. On Monday, I had another doctor appointment. The little guy is doing great and measuring right now. After that, we went to the Park City to the outlet mall. We found some great deals for next winter for our little one. In the evening, we went to Ryan and Rachel's house to have pizza and play a game.

Chirstmas

We spent the Christmas break with Ryan's family in Washington. We had a pretty good drive up with no snow but the drive home was a different story. We had snow on the road for most of our drive through Oregon but we made it home safe. It was a nice break. All of Ryan's siblings were able to be there so we had a nice get together. We spent about three days in a cabin and Ryan was able to go snow shoeing a couple of times. I just stayed warm and watched some movies. We also saw The Blind Side while we were there. It was a great movie.
