Update

Well, I have not given an update in a while. Ryan and I are doing well. We had a nice weekend with our families for graduation. Ryan was able to finish up his semester last week and is enjoying not having homework for a while. I am trying to make it each day as we wait for the baby to come. We have everything ready for him. We are getting very excited to meet our little boy. I will be induced on Friday, May 7th if our little boy does not come before than.

We are going to wait until we see him to decide. Hopefully, we will be seeing him in about two weeks.

Spring Break

This past week was my spring break. It was so nice to not have to get up each day and go to work. I spent most of my week with my mom, Laura, and Vanessa. We did some sewing, shopping, and playing. Robyn was able to come over as well. I was able to get the rest of the baby stuff that we needed. Now, if I can only prepare myself mentally that I am going to be a mom in about 3 weeks.

4 Weeks to Go!

Baby Shower #3

Last Friday, my room mother had a baby shower for me. My students enjoyed the food. My students and parents were very kind to me and I got some very nice gifts. It was fun!

Baby Names

Ryan and I decided that we will take 3 boy names with us to the hospital and pick our little guys name after we see him. I wanted to be able to include my students somehow, so we came up with the idea to let my students pick one of the three names.
Last Thursday, I had my students write down 3 boy names. Then on Monday, I gave them a list of all the names and told them to pick 6. I added three names of my own liking to the list which are Luke, Logan, and Carter. We slowly each day got the list smaller and smaller. Today, the list was down to 5 names: Logan, Luke, Carter, Gene, and Nathan. They had to vote on one. It was a two way tie between Logan and Carter. We had to vote again. The winner is Logan by one vote. Now, we have to come up with two other names by April 17th (this is our goal).
