18 Months

 Savannah is 18 month old! Which also means that she was able to start nursery yesterday. She did not cry so that is a plus but I am not sure that she loved being away from Dad during church. We love our caboose! 

Nutcracker

 Dear Lily Hendricks,

Congratulations!  You have been cast as a Party Girl in the 2022 Ballet West production of The Nutcracker. 

Please be aware there is a great deal of information you need to know as a cast member.  America’s First Nutcracker choreographed by Willam Christensen in 1944, Ballet West’s production is the only continuously performed Nutcracker in the United States. 

 It all started on September 9th, when Lily decided she wanted to try out for Ballet West's Nutcracker. The letter above is what she received when she was casted as a party girl. She worked for 11 weeks to get ready for the show.

On November 25th, she had her first performance in Ogden. She had four shows the first weekend. Ryan and his parents were able to see the show there. 

Then she performed four shows the first weekend in December in SLC. I was able to see her along with my mom, Laura, Ashley, Lili and Devon. She was amazing and she was able to make some good friends along the way. 

Zoo

 This past Wednesday, I took Weston and Savannah to the Hogle Zoo. It was a chilly morning but the kids had fun seeing the different animals and being outside. 

Thanksgiving Point

 At the beginning of the month, the kids had a day off from school. We went to see the butterflies at Thanksgiving Point. Then we went and had dinner with family. 

Fall Break

 On the first day of the break, we let the kids just relax here at home. Ryan took a sick day. 

On Friday, we went to the Museum of Curiosity in the morning. Ryan and the oldest four did the canopy tour while Weston, Savannah and I played in the museum. 

After lunch, we met up with the Braswells and went to the gardens. It is was the scarecrow festival and they had some bouncy houses. We had a fun time with cousins. 

It was a nice break from school and we even had amazing weather.
